From art exhibits and line dancing to a lecture on artificial intelligence’s future roles in the humanities, Mississippi State is celebrating Black History Month with numerous events throughout February.

Mississippi State University is part of a European-American collaboration studying how human activities, like fertilizer use and polluting, are impacting nitrogen-fixing plants which are crucial for maintaining healthy ecosystems by adding nitrogen to the soil.

One of this fall’s graduates at Mississippi State University never imagined he would receive the MSU undergraduate degree he worked on 60 years ago.
