Mississippi State University won two first-place “Best of Show” awards at the Associated Collegiate Press National College Media Convention held in New Orleans last month, continuing a string a dominance from MSU’s Department of Communication.

The latest cohort of Mississippi State’s Institute for the Humanities Fellows is exploring expansive historical and cultural topics, including Central American national identity, American medical history and the role of satire in Elizabethan society.

The Writing Center—a resource dedicated to aiding writers of all levels and facilitated by the Department of English in the College of Arts and Sciences—invites the Mississippi State community to an open house for their new location, Mitchell Memorial Library, followed by a reception for new MSU faculty members.
