Lauren Scott
Lauren Scott was a senior anthropology major with a minor in Russian from Raleigh, Mississippi. Lauren chose MSU because she was able to do skeletal research at MSU with Dr. Herrman while she was attending The Mississippi School of Math and Science. During her time at MSU Lauren served as a College of Arts and Sciences Ambassador, a member of the Anthropology Club, vice-president of the Russian Club, and as president of the charter of Lambda Alpha National Honor Society. Lauren’s advice to prospective students is, “It may be hard at first to adjust to the rapid environment of a research institution, but if you're willing, the instructors will be with you ever step of the way to success.”
