Students seeking scientific medical knowledge at Mississippi State University now have a cutting-edge resource to help them dissect human anatomy with the most-advanced medical education system available—state-of-the-art Anatomage Tables.

Mississippi State Associate Professor Sol Pelaez is the university’s 2025 Mississippi Humanities Council Teacher of the Year.

“More women now earn college degrees than men," said Rachel Allison. "While women still face barriers and challenges in the workforce, including their lower pay [compared] to men, women’s greater education may allow them to hold jobs that make homeownership more possible. There is also decreasing societal stigma to women’s singleness.”
