Faculty research receives international media attention
Department of Anthropology and Middle Eastern Cultures Associate Professor Molly Zuckerman, Outreach Coordinator (and research archaeologist) at the Cobb Institute of Archaeology Derek Anderson (who co-led excavations and survey work at UMMC in 2012 and 2013), and Michael Murphy Ph.D. candidate in the Department of History (who has conducted extensive archival research on the MSA) are members of the Asylum Hill Research Consortium at UMMC to create a unique educational, academic, and social resource for the people of Mississippi.
