Alisa Semmes joined the College of Arts & Sciences in October 2014 as an Administrative Assistant to the Dean.  She grew up in Pennsylvania and New Jersey before receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts from the University of South Carolina.  Alisa then went to The Citadel in Charleston, SC where she obtained a Masters of Social Science.  Previously, Alisa has worked in higher education as well as in entertainment, insurance and manufacturing industries in various capacities including marketing, trade compliance, and administrative assistant.

In her spare time, Alisa loves to bake, knit, and watch The Walking Dead with her husband, Ryan.
